As a Project, we believe that having fun is a great way to relax and let go of the stresses that surround people’s lives. The stress that comes with financial issues can be especially great. To help people, we provide free social activities to enable them to rest and relax. The activities range from Sunday lunches to music concerts, day trips to Murder Mystery nights. All the activities are provided free of charge.
At Easter, the Project gives Easter eggs to children in the community who may not get an Easter egg. Around 300 Easter eggs are given each year. At Christmas, the Project gives over 100 Christmas presents to children who would not otherwise receive a present.
Freedom Community Week is a week of community activities hosted at Bolsover Methodist Church. All the activities are free, the idea is that you can enjoy relaxing week without spending anything at all.
